Minor Update

Just a little something since I didn’t have a lot of time to work on it last night.  Still a ways to go.  Not totally happy with the side “cowling” or the coppery oval grille it houses, but they are nice stand in for now.  I will also have to refine the little blue outcropping along the upper sides, often referred to in fandom as the “inlet flow sensor.”   They should be even with the top of the cowling and need to curve inward toward the center line as they progress towards the aft, eventually blending into the cowling itself.  I also need to merge some points along the base of the big central divider where it blends into the main nacelle structure.

Next step is to begin on some of the upper ridge features and the little bumpy crystal housing.  Who knows?  Someday I might even extend the thing and work on the aft section. 😉
